The brief
Where it started.
An owner-led general contractor doing remodels, additions, decks and repairs across the High Country needed a site that converts — and ranks in each of the towns it serves.
What we built
So we shipped 5 pieces.
- 01Local pagesServices, projects and service areas for five towns
- 02Estimate flowA multi-step form with in-browser photo downscaling, plus a short call-back form
- 03Spam defenceServer-side validation, a honeypot, minimum fill time and per-IP rate limiting
- 04Lead emailsAn instant alert to the owner and a confirmation to the customer
- 05Show, don't tellAn interactive service-area map and before/after sliders on project pages
Under the hood
The part worth a closer look.
The clever part
The service-area map is generated from US Census county geometry — split into shared-border arcs and simplified so neighbouring counties never drift apart at any zoom.
Stack
And what it all runs on.
- Next.js 16
- React 19
- Tailwind v4
- Resend
- React Email
- Zod
